The great houses of Parma Ham reveal their secrets to consumers during the 12th Parma Ham Festival, when they will open their doors to the public.
Parma Ham is a wholly natural product, (its only ingredients are pork and salt), and a product of certified origin. Its success derives entirely from the expertise of its salt masters, from the fragrant air of the Parma hills and in the time-consuming, painstaking process of curing. The Hams are not smoked and no chemicals, preservatives or other additives are used.
From the 29th of August to the 20th of September our producers are celebrating and will proudly take fans of the sweetest ham in Italy on a journey to discover the secret of how it is made!
