16th PROSCIUTTO RALLY – “Giovanni Guerci and Michela Monica Memorial” – Rally open to all off-road vehicles that are in compliance with road legislation. Starting point: UFS Langhirano, Via Guerci Info and bookings – Pierre +39 333 6726262.

GUIDED WALKING TOUR combining nature, culture and local food and wine, from Felino Castle to Torrechiara Castle, following ancient country tracks through the hills, with stunning panoramic views over the city of Parma, the Apennine peaks and the Pre-Alps.  The approximately 3.5-hour walk includes a guided tour of the Salami Museum (Felino) and a snack along the route at Trattoria Leoni.  Meeting point: in front of the Felino Church at 8:45am. Live demonstration of how to make Piadina Romagnola: from preparing the dough to cooking the authentic “national bread of Romagna”, followed by tasting of the piadina on its own. Prosciutto di Parma Museum – Arts & Crafts at the Prosciutto di Parma Museum. The Arts & Crafts Workshop, dedicated to adults with disabilities, will be the focus of a special afternoon, showcasing original souvenirs made by participants using recycled materials, normally available at the Museum bookshop. The handmade items will be available for a donation, with proceeds helping to support the Centre’s activities and projects.  The Workshop participants will also engage visitors of all ages in free creative activities inspired by the Museum, guiding them in making a small object to take home as an original  souvenir. All participants will receive a fun bookmark. Free activities recommended for children and families.  (Via Bocchialini, 7)

TALK – ISTITUTO GADDA: PLANNING THE FUTURE CREATING SUCCESS. “Carlo Emilio Gadda” Upper Secondary School, several schools in one! With a long-standing focus on innovation and experimentation, as well as strong career guidance, the school presents its new educational and project-based programmes, combining theoretical preparation with hands-on laboratory activities, field projects and targeted work-based learning that responds to the evolving needs of the job market. Prosciutto di Parma Experience –  A space dedicated to meetings, show cooking and demonstrations offering a truly immersive experience of the product, thanks to a guided tasting journey featuring three different maturation stages of Prosciutto di Parma, plus a fourth version sliced by hand, all paired with wines, beers and other local gastronomic specialties. DRY-CURED HAMS FROM AROUND THE WORLD, AT THE COURT OF HIS MAJESTY PROSCIUTTO DI PARMA. Prosciutto di Parma Experience welcomes producers of  European dry-cured hams.

AMBROGIO SANELLI S.a.s. The company, a manufacturer of knives and professional tools since 1864, guides visitors in discovering its products, offers tips on their use and maintenance, and gives demonstrations of Japanese stone sharpening at its stand. (Via V. Veneto)

Prosciutto DI PARMA Museum – Extended opening hours from 10:00am to 8:00pm and “Festival Special” reduced price ticket for all visitors (€3.00).  All day for children, MuseumQUIZ: fun Activity Sheets for exploring the Museum, its stories and its objects, on their own, with friends or with their parents. Free activity included in the entrance ticket. Paid guided tours for families and groups available on request; booking required. Tastings at the Museum Restaurant from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
