MALVASIA DI CANDIA AROMATICA – FROM THE PELOPONNESE TO OUR HILLS.
The reconstruction of the ancient and fantastic journey from Monemvasia to Crete (Candia) and finally to Venice and Parma, in the holds of the ships of the Venetian Merchants who saved it from extinction by bringing it to different European regions. Comparative tasting of some of the modern wines obtained from the varietals descending from the ancients cuttings of Malvasia Aromatica di Candia.

Tastings, guided tastings, meetings and taste workshops to discover the secrets of the “Prince” of Italian deli meats together with the master producers of Prosciutto di Parma PDO. There will be stands of different ham production sites where you can meet the producers of Parma Ham… and more.
At the SPACCIO DI PARMA stand visitors can buy Parma Ham in its special Festival edition. Music and entertainment in the evening. (Via del Popolo)
DRY-CURED HAMS FROM AROUND THE WORLD, AT THE COURT OF HIS MAJESTY PARMA HAM. The Citadel of Parma Ham will host some of the most important national and international producers of dry cured hams.
FINESTRE APERTE (OPEN WINDOWS). The production sites open their doors to visitors. The shuttle bus leaves from Piazzale Corridoni.
Operating times 10am-1pm / 3pm-7pm.
Parma Ham Museum – Soft opening from 10am to 8pm and “Special Festival” reduced price of admission at €3 for all.
Free guided tours, tastings, meetings and workshops.
At the Museum Restaurant (open from 10am to 8pm) visitors can taste 20-30 month-old Parma Ham PDO, Coppa di Parma PGI, Spalla Cotta di San Secondo, Spalla Cruda, Salami Felino PGI, and Strolghino di Culatello salami.
