10:00: Trekking to Monte Fuso: nature tour setting off from the Monte Fuso Tourism Centre and tasting on return. Sports activities at the Centre: mountain biking, trip on horseback, archery. Opening of three museums: Museo dei Lucchetti (Locks) in Cedogno, Uomo Ambiente (Man Environment) in Bazzano, Museo della Resistenza (Underground Movement) in Sasso. “THE MOUNTAIN AND ITS PARKS: THE GOOD AIR THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE”
10:30, at Schia: Trekking to the Great Beech Tree: nature tour inside the Regional Park of the Valli del Cedra e del Parma (Cedra and Parma River Valleys). Setting off from Schia–Chalet Pian della Giara, with tasting on return.
An easy excursion that with a circular route will lead to discovery of the north side of Monte Caio, to reach the picturesque dell where the “Great Beech Tree”, the majestic and ancient patriarch of the valley, has stood for centuries. A route of great naturalistic and landscape interest, which in particular develops geomorphological and botanical themes. On return, at Pian delle Giare, there will be a tasting of Parma Ham. Calestano
From 10:00: non-guided visit to the “Salti del Diavolo” (devil's jumps). The spectacular outcrop is a sedimentary formation of the Cretaceous period (80/82 million years ago) that is a 5 km long alignment of huddled rock needles and walls that emerge suddenly for several dozen metres above the surrounding terrain. The name comes from a curious legend about the devil and a hermit (at Calestano take the road for Chiastre -10 km, towards Berceto).

- visit, by booking only, to the Pieve di Talignano parish church: built in the 12th century, it was annexed to a hospice for pilgrims because it is located on the Via Francigena. The edifice is aisleless and covered by a barrel vault; it still has the original structure in the apse, bell tower and facade. The rare lunette with the psychostasy, weighing of the souls, is outstanding.
