Figures from the Weekend at Langhirano

September 2009 - The Langhirano round of the Parma Ham Festival has successfully come to an end. Between Friday the 4th and Sunday the 6th, 50,000 visitors came to the Parma Ham capital to take part in the activities of the fair. Three thousand visitors took part in “Finestre Aperte” (“Open Windows”), taking the opportunity to visit production sites for a full immersion experience of the secrets of the sweetest of hams. One hundred and sixty hams were sliced in the three themed prosciutto stalls over the weekend.
The figures are partial, because the Festival will continue on 12 and 13 September in Collechio and Felino, to then conclude with a big party in Parma from 18 to 20 September.
